Notice how there is no mention of any warranty on their website. After they take your money they don't care about you.

EDIT: They don't even list their phone number on their website. Respectable companies doesn't do that. They don't want to hear from their customers.

That's interesting, because when I emailed them about buying another REVOclip, they responded within a few days, telling me that they would send me a new one free without charge. It was my fault that I bent the thing out of shape, but they still replaced for free without asking questions. Maybe they've improved their customer service since the time you ordered.

About buying a case for the mini, I don't know of any that offer anything else besides cosmetic protection (from DLO, iSkin and Speck). Personally, I wouldn't waste money on them, because what they do best isn't needed on the mini. I have an iSkin exo2 on my 3G iPod so it won't get so scratched up, but with the brushed aluminum casing, the mini doesn't really need that kind of protection. Skins and thin leather cases like the DLO Podfolio don't offer much shock protection and make the mini bigger. It depends on the purpose for which you plan the case, but unless you really want to wear your mini as a lanyard, I would recommend waiting until something with more shock protection comes out. The mini looks great as it is, and if you don't need shock protection, I say just get a pda screen protector to cover the only part that really needs cosmetic protection and leave the rest the way it is.

EDIT: Doh! Should have read the rest of the thread. Maybe Marware has got some cases that might be useful on the mini.

LOL,
Yesterday morning I was getting out of my truck at the club, and the Mini slipped out of my hand and tumbled end over end till it hit the ground right on the corner with a sickening thunk. Fortunately I had put it in the Marware case. No damage to the case or the Mini. I shudder what it would look like if left unprotected. The downside is that pretty much the only phones that fit in the stretch sleeve are the Ety ER6. The Shure E3 and Ety ER4's will fit, but a little too bulky for a svelte look.

Any owners of the Marware Sports Convertible Case?

How bulky is it? It looks somewhat bulky from the picture http://www.marware.com/miniconvertible.html and one of the main reasons I bought the Mini was for the slim shape. Other than that though, the case looks quite nice. The lid is removable? What is it connected with? Does the "silver" case look grey or silver?

I'm still looking for a case for the mini - and these look the best so far. No VAJA news yet.

I had one for my full size iPod. It is well made, but bulky and kinda ugly. It does the intended job though. I ended up giving mine away because it is really more of a travel case than for everyday use. To use it, you have to remove the lid, and that is just another piece to deal with. Then the rest of the case was a little too bulky to fit in my pocket easily. It has protection for the screen, but not the wheel, which was fine with me. The pocket for the buds would just accomodate the Ety E4's, so I'm guessing the pocket on the mini would be too small for them. I imagine the Mini convertible case will fit in your pocket comfortably, but the Sportsuit Sleeve works better for me because it is one piece.
