Does anyone know if the hexagonal case screws on the MPX3 have US-sized or metric-sized heads and threads? I used to have both kinds of Allen wrench sets, but now I can't locate them and i just have singles. I need to use something like an Umbraco screw driver to get them out again, but i don't want to strip the sockets in the heads. If it's a US-thread/head size then i need to order it. If its metric, it'll cost $22 here for an umbraco screw driver! It looks close to a 1.5 mm, but i hesitate to twist any harder with the small key allen wrenches.

My memory tells me it was a US sized hex head on the MPX3 that I took apart last year but that's going too far back to be sure.

Same for my Extreme when I opened one up... I seem to have misplaced the ball-hex screwdriver I bought to do it, so I can't remember the size.

Edit: Found it. Says 1/16" Hopefully that works for you.

But no one knows what size? These are tiny: 1/16"? Is that a US size?

OK it's either 0.05" or 1/16" hex-end. I can't even imagine how big this is in mm?

Well, it is the inch size x 25.4 mm/inch (exact conv figure)., so it isn't very big

1/16" sounds like a 4-40 imperial screw, but I would need to verify that. These are fairly close (but not interchangeable) to M3.

Sorry, I missed the earlier post 1/16" it is. I can ask my daughter in Boulder to pick them up at McGukins. I'm in Denmark and it would be hard to find a way to pay you for the screws and post, but you are so very kind to offer. Thanks so much.
