i hadnt considered them fully. I will have a look now.
I did in the end decide against both pairs
but if i find nothing better i will rerun to the 2000J

I think you should consider those models mentioned by fellow head-fiers such as Campfire Audio Comet, iBasso IT01, RHA T10 and T20... They are well received by the community. Another one you can consider is Pioneer CH-9T
