Hi guys, have a problem
Currently using HP laptop>3.5mm/RCA>AWA Mini HiFi system (2.0)
Wondering what the best path for upgrading would be? I don't have a massive budget <$200 would be ideal.
But should i go for a new 2.0 system, a cheap amp (are retros any good for music?), a new source or a USB soundcard (have a cheap/highly possible cr@p one on the way)? I mainly use it for music and a subwoofer would be great but i can't seem to find one to plug into the hi fi system, it has a seperate plug, not an rca

It has cable connectors for the speakers, not RCAs. has AUX in ports
