figure out how to get there from NYC

Make sure to book the AA direct flight from JFK to SNA (John Wayne airport). It’s a small airport 5 min from the hotel and a massive convenience vs flying to LAX.

As a native Southern Californian, I would 100% recommend SNA (John Wayne Airport). I hate LAX. Another small airport that is an option is the Long Beach Airport. It’s a not as far as LAX and a pretty tiny airport, but for convenience sake, also another great option. I know the price difference between SNA and Long Beach might even be worth just a little extra drive.

Yeah I think the only airlines that do direct to the John Wayne airport are southwest and American. Pretty continent to fly in there

All of this flight talk made me decide to map and plot my flight.

Santa Monica, SMO to John Wayne, SNA. Flight time should be about 26mins. Traveling at 2000ft with one climb to 2500ft. Taking the Mini-route. This doesn't seem like a challenging flight but I have to navigate directly over LAX and stay south of LGB(Long Beach) and slip in south of the permanent TFR around Disneyland. This is the most congested airspace in the USA.

...or you could just drive :smirk:
(and still enjoy the most congested roadspace in the USA)

Got plane tickets to SNA as well as hotel room
Now want to know about good restaurants in the hotel or close to it. Also I'm a craft beer lover so will be looking for a brewery nearby or bar which has wide selection of beers which you usually can't find in NYC

Does anyone here encounter problems with the ticket? I bought mine since march and i just checked it again and the qr code dissapeared. Should I worried about this? Thank you.

I have the same issue- my QR code also does not download.

I’m not concerned per se, but it would be good to confirm here if 1) the email will work as proof purchase or 2) if there is another to download the associated QR code. 😊

I think there are two emails one that has it much more visible

Thank you- though unfortunately both show up as the little question mark and don’t want to download. 😝
