I finally found some cable on ebay, its the CANARE L-4E6S STAR QUAD going for about $10 per 10feet - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150819113739&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123

Are they any good for recabling headphones? also do you know if I can get a better deal anywhere else? on ebay? keywords, links to sellers you buy from would help :)

Thanks

$1.00 per foot of quad microphone cable is about as good a price (per foot) you can find.

I prefer the Mogami as well, it's easier to work with, that sheild on the Canare can be a pain to get a clean Y-split.

exactly what I wanted, thanks everyone. Its my first job, I dont want to spend a fortune recalling the headphones so the Canare stuff should be fine. Besides the headphones I wanted to get are Pro 80's and they aren't that expensive around $87 shipped from china. :)

Tigerdirect sells the Pro 80 under the name Gemini HSR-1000 for $80,99 (plus tax and shipping).

Takstar Pro 80, ships from Hong Kong, $68.99 (plus shipping).
