Well?

Suppose i should of made myself clearer.

Pretty funny that on an audio full of self proclaimed audiophiles that a very high percentage cant spell a word that is muttered out of their lips probably 20 times daily.

So obviously the context of the word i am asking about is the low pitched sound that speakers/headphones make that if performed correctly can put a smile on your face.

I can't believe "bass" is actually winning now.

Yes, I sure can.
Both words are spelled correct, they just have different meaning.

Is 20 pound for the weight like 30 pounds if a guy lifts? No gym for home, work out floor with 30, but is it for 20 like 30 lb when you no lift it to be for men, for 30 lbs instead? or half is 10 for 20 pounds?

are you talking about Bass - a fish
Bass - aka American Linden tree
Bass - low male singing voice
Bass - lowest part of a 4-part harmony
Bass - lowest stringed instrument

...........and so on,
The word base was also mentioned - which is most generally a locus. eg. home-base
What is meant by this "poll"? I don't get it. The question is Apples vs Oranges (nothing to do with either producing music or listening to music)......or is it intended to demonstrate the dumbing-down of America and the exceedingly poor performance of our public schools.

You win the non sequitur of the day award. And in this thread, that's quite an accomplishment.

is not a nonsequitor - it is more appropriately termed NONSENSE.

If I've understood the OP's intent correctly then the original question of 'Can you spell?' should instead be 'Can you use grammar properly?'.

''Wow check out the base on these headphones'' versus ''Wow check out the bass on these headphones''

What I based my guess upon, was this being an audio forum, the OP has noted misspelling of the audio term "BASS", which I've also read here, to often lately...

Well~
