I have been thinking alot about selling my Zen Xtra and getting an iHP-120. However, I can't find if the iHP-120 has a "play any track" option like the Zen Xtra does. Anyone know if it does?

If by "play any track" you mean shuffle, then yes.

there are three shuffle modes.

shuffle folder and shuffle album and just a generic shuffle.

I think that the iRiver lacking a clock is a bunch of BS.
I seriously do not know how playback functions could be there without a clock. It makes no sense to leave one out as well, doesn't it?

From all I've read the iHPs have no true shuffle mode. They can play songs in directories and playlists in an arbitrary order, but the order never changes -- i.e. the next time you access the same directory/playlist, the order will be exactly the same.

I mean like you dont have to select a playlist or anything. It will play random songs from your entire music collection.

So each time you call the same playlist/folder up you get completely different track orders now?
