Hey guys, I've just bought some Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers and I want to run them off of my Schiit DAC. So can I just split the RCA output and have set of wires going off to my headphone amp and the other to my speakers without any loss of audio quality?
 
If there will be a loss in audio quality then could you recommend me a good, inexpensive switch to use? I found this on Amazon but my god it's ugly, I couldn't have that on my desk next to my beautiful Schiit. Link

You don't want to use Y cables to mix sources, but there really should be no issue using them to split a source. If you otherwise need a switch, the Rolls SS32 is a fine one for the price.

You need a 1M2F RCA adapter or "Y" cable.
Outside of placebo effects there will be no drop in sound quality.

Avoid adapters like this one... the Neg contacts on the 1M side bend an can break.
