Hello,

short question... im offered a used 2 way power supply (2x9V) which can be wired as -9V/+9V to get a 18V symmetrical power supply, but if i wire this as 18V Power supply, can i have 2 outputs on it? one +9V and one -9V/+9V (18V) ?

its one of those power supplys https://www.thel-audioworld.de/module/NT-HQ/NT-HQ.htm

which would be the perfect solution to get a quality linear power supply for my aune stack, the X7S needs 18V and the X8 9V

You can – if you hook it up as in diagram 2; but minus output (U2–) becomes GND for both devices.
