I've obtained my HDP for 5 weeks and it works well with my mac. As my job require much travelling, I'm trying to make my HDP work (along with my mbp as well) on my trips. So can I use a power pack such as Energize XP8000 (http://www.energizerpowerpacks.com/us/products/xp8000/) as the power suplly?

The power requirement of HDP is indicated as DC 15V/1.6A, yet there aren't any power pack can supply exactly 15V/1.6A, so can I plug 19V/2A or other (lesser voltage/ampere) output to my HDP? Will it do harm to the amplifier?

I am really eager for the 24bit/96KHz music decoded by my HDP on my boring, 8-hours trips.

I would stay within the DC 12-15V range, as recommended by Nuforce. It might work with 19V, but personally I would not risk it. You could probably forget about your warranty as well, if you managed to fry it with 19V
