A source for you guys seems to be a problem. I'm bringing 3 laptops on the day if anyone needs a spare: 2 current model acers and my MacBook unibody (yes it was a while ago now)' which I'll be using purely for the optical out. One of the acers is the top-spec Utlrabook so obviously no optical drive USB only, how's that ok?

Got my schiit sorted - I now have a car and a laptop.  Installed Windows 8 consumer preview for the hell of it - SQ is very ordinary compared to my desktop but there is not way I will be able to haul that to the venue as it weighs about 20 kilos and will probably throw out bluescreens if it has to use an extension power cord.  I think a decent CD transport would probably beat it (the laptop running from wall power connected to AP2/purepower), but we can sort that out on the day.  Guess you can take my word for it.
