Selling is selling these at a low bid but from the box itself it seems to be real.

The space between the 'd' in the sound seems to have that nice gap compared to the fake ones where it's almost touching the words above.

The seller has 100% and isn't selling any other items right now.

The Sennheiser IE8/IE80 are not IEMs which can buy from eBay or unauthorized delaers because not only fake package but also removeable cable allow to add fake IEMs on real cable. so i won't recommend to buy it and still the market price are higher than this to doubt about it they are real. BTW Denon AH-C300 are very close to IE80 in term of soundquality and more bassier with wider soundstage (highly recommended Denon C300 over IE80).

The BEST that anyone is going to be able to offer you while still getting REAL IE80's is $350.  I told the same thing to a friend of mine when he started showing up links from eBay: You WILL NOT be able to get Real IE80's for less than $350, if it's less, it's fake.  The only exception I would allow are for members of Head-Fi selling used with a reciept from an Authorized Dealer.  Is $350 too much for you to spend?  Personally I would purchase them again in a heartbeat.

If you're looking to buy a genuine set, I'd get the IE80s from amazon.de for 215 Euros, or about $280.

I bought mine from there, genuine, for 209 Euros, and then shipped them over to Australia. Here:
http://www.amazon.de/Sennheiser-504771-IE-80-In-Ear-Kopfh%C3%B6rer/dp/B005N8W27I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355310397&sr=8-1

Alternatively, you could negotiate with Razordog Deals and say you're a head-fi member, and try to get a discount. There's a $100 off coupon for buying a product over $399, but I'm not sure it applies to Senn products.

I like my IE80s a lot, so I hope they'll serve you well. Good luck!
