Dude I’m still in shock that your Solaris is for sale lol. I gotta say though, you’ve piqued my interest once again in the Ely. I’ve contemplated buying one for a while now. The bass quantity is what has stopped me from pulling the trigger, but I think my basshead tendencies have been diminishing lately. Hopefully some time in 2021 I’ll get to hear it

Yeah the bass is what held me off from blind buying once a uni was available. It totally caught me off guard though. I got the VE kit the same day I mailed away the MEST and my thought at the time was that I'd just go through the motions with the Ely/VE8 but spend most of the time with the Andro. It only took me about an hour with the Elysium to realize that it was the next level of sound I'd been subconsciously searching for...and every minute it's been in my ears since has reinforced that. It's probably not a sound that's for everyone though.

Can you elaborate on this a little? As I am in the same position as you had been prior to hearing the Elysium with the concerns of the single BA bass I’ll be curious to hear what flipped it for you?
