Andromeda all the way lol
Uh, huh....

When I bought my Andros and used them with my sp1000M blue, I said, "I have reached my end game IEM!"

4 months later when I sold them, the guy I sold them to tried them in front of me, and exclaimed; "I have the IEM's that will last me forever!".

I looked at him and said, "uh, huh..."

I don't think that they're the best IEMs in the world, but compared to the CL2? No contest.

Look: Andros are BA, CL2 is planar, they are different beasts! No way BA beats planar technology!

Andromeda is much better. The CL2, while much better than the CL1 (which was an awful treble cannon), is still a flawed IEM.

Some people enjoy the CL2's extremely peaky upper midrange, but it's not for me.

Right. But there is no peak.

Right. But there is no peak.
Do not try and burn in the peak, for that is impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth... There is no peak. Then you'll see that it is not the peak that burns in, it is only yourself.

Maybe it's time for me to jump on tribrid. The Fearless Roland or Empire Valkrie :3

kinda missing my andros after listening to this Comet tbh. But whut, you have viento. How does that compare to Andros! @@

As for the Viento... to me, it easily takes the crown for best sub-1K IEM and puts to shame many/most IEMs that are several times its price. However, as with all things here, whether you like it more/less than the Andromeda will depend on your preferences (the Viento has a more neutral tuning).

Personally, it gets the most use out of my IEMs for a few reasons: it's comfortable (CIEM), not source-sensitive, and handles just about everything I throw at it well.

Right. But there is no peak.

That Viento has variable dip switch though. And it's 1.6k, not really sub 1k anymore lol xD

I have the Viento-B version, so it's fixed at the neutral with bass switch configuration. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
In terms of popularity, I think it generally goes B > D > A > C. (I guess people like their bass boost.)

The fixed switch version costs 891,000KRW, which is just around $750 at current currency exchange rates. That said... the non-R versions aren't available outside of Korea, and Hidition charges $1450-1500 for the Viento-R internationally.
