Word on the street is that Ken Ball and the team that brought us ALO Audio are in the process of launching a new brand called "Campfire Audio". Gather around the Campfire my friends - good times await!
While the ventures are related, the line of demarcation is that ALO Audio will cover amps and cables while Campfire will be all about IEMs and headphones.
They even have a beta version of their website up at http://campfireaudio.com/. Only some of the info is listed, but the pictures sure are interesting.
And here's their new logo.
Looking at the web-page there are three initial IEM offerings named the Lyra (dynamic), Jupiter (quad BA) and Orion (single BA), so a mix of dynamic and balanced armature IEMs.
And have to admit that I've been fortunate enough to listen to some of these IEM's, and Ken and team have done a very nice job on this first foray into transducers. The "Jupiter" is my personal favorite!
Much more to come.
Cheers
