Would you say there are any significant differences between them? Because if vega sounds near exact to the honeydew, but more resolving, I'm 100 percent ok with that.

Off the top of my head, it's not exactly the same. Honeydew is warmer and W shaped, whereas Vega is more L-shaped and neutral warm.

Dorado would be a better fit it you want something more exact as a step up.
