They don't normally look like that. I popped them in my ears quickly without paying attention for the picture. The first few times I put them in like that, but now I get them tucked in beneath the front small flap in the ear. They don't fill the outside of the ear perfectly but they do fit under the flap normally and I am not having any issues at all with seal or bass response.

Thanks for the link... It's so good that our Euro friends can finally get some closer access to customs. I know that the high international shipping costs and times were so concerning that many were just too afraid to take the plunge.

Heh...heh...are you sure about that? look at the prices =)

484 Euros ($685 USD) for STAGE 1 Dual Driver-1Way
730 Euros ($1030 USD) for STAGE 2 Dual Driver-2way
950 Euros ($1400) for STAGE 3 Triple Driver-2 way

....

The Dual driver is more expensive than the JH11 which is a quad driver 3 way....AND you don't get the carbon fiber case from JHA.

The $1400 price of the STAGE 3 is...well....more expensive then the super praised JH13...which is a 6 driver, 3 way...

Who cares about drivers when you have good sound? You also get a nice case made of aluminium by the way...

The Stage 3 is the least expensive of the current high end IEMs here in Germay, please consider that!

Well amount of drivers doesn't completely doesn't have no relation to sound. But yes, who cares about it when you have good sound. However, the more drivers you have that means the more it cost to make the monitor meanign the price goes up. B

yes i can see that everything high end is extremely expensive in Germany...1085 for Jh13....more than 150% of the price in US.

I've lived both in France and in the States, and spent an academic year in Great Britain. As a general rule, (Western) European prices for most everything are way higher than American prices, for the very same products. It made me laugh bitterly when the price of gas went up in the States and Americans complained that it was impossible to pay that much and asked the government to subsidize it, while even at its highest, it still wasn't as high as in France before the crisis. Or now, for that matter. The only way (Western) Europe keeps it own market is through very high customs taxes -- not through competitive pricing.

Received mine for a week.

The right side is perfect but the left is a tad loose.

The left seal breaks too easily.

Anyway, finally got the time to take some pictures:
