Where is this magical barista? I may have to take a spiritual journey out to find him and consume of this holy nectar.

Approx 9000 miles west from Louisiana.

Ha !
I used to say I was stopping coffee for weight loss to my barista, and attributed my weight gain to my 3-a-day coffees....102KG
Not even in the equation as I found out.
Dropped 12kg/24lbs last 6 months to 90KG just by getting on my mountain bike every day, smaller more frequent quality food portions below my daily calorie in/out ratio and the magic extra......greek yoghurt 3x a day at first down to 1x a day...all the while drinking any kind of coffee with added this or that milk/sugar/cream.

Anyway, back to MORE COFFEE.

What I want to know is how to gain weight. My body refuses to no matter how much I eat! (Probably due to a hyperdrive metabolism.)

Muscle building will force your body to bulk.

Some people just need to take in way more calories than what seems necessary to gain weight! I've been into bodybuilding for a while and helping a few friends gain weight required around 5000 cals a day! Granted they were also very active and into fitness making that number increase but still...that's a lot of food.

If you don't want to resort to junk foods, things like peanut butter, pure olive oil, whole milk, etc can bump your calorie intake up a lot. Also, more Mountain Dew would help :)

I couldn't tell you. Louisiana just won't make up its mind, it keeps swinging between mid 40s and windy and high 60s and muggy. Sometimes it's good coffee drinking weather, sometimes it's too warm for a jacket but too cold for no jacket. All I know is that song it will make up its mind and it will either be extremely cold (to me) or just muggy and awful. Hopefully it will be cold this year. :D

  How's winter been treating everyone?

It got near zero degrees here yesterday. At least now I don't have to leave Mountain Dew in the freezer for a few hours since it's already cold.

It was awful hot this morning, must've been 19 Deg. F. It's supposed to hit 60 on Sunday, go figure.
