Had another ROCKSTAR because I still have homework and a math test tomorrow. Still tired though.

I have found that diet plays a key role in the effect of soda and energy drinks. The right combination can make you feel energized. The wrong combination can backfire. And drinking them without having any food first that day is a recipe for disaster, at least for me.

Right now just precalculus. Not terribly hard, but I haven't gone over any of this stuff so it isn't the material it's just the amount and the speed of the course that are killing me.

That's as far as I ever got. College algebra was far easier for me. I excelled in most subjects (even got over a hundred percent in physics!), but I'm not a math person at all.

Study hard, Calc is more difficult. make sure you've got Binomial Expansion down pat. I'm an EE that these days writes software. When I was designing linear/analog circuits Calc was essential. These days, not so essential for me.

Actually that is my major right now.
I'm not really having trouble understanding the concepts, I'm having trouble keeping up with the blazing fast speed of the class because my school runs on a system based on quarters instead of semesters. The classes go really fast. But yeah, I'm trying my best to keep my head down and push ahead, but right now my short attention span is making studying really hard. XD

If you're majoring in EE, the math is essential. Are you planning to really learn how to design with discrete components rather than focus on chips and modules. Your interests in Digital, Analog or both?
I see lots of caffeine in your future.

Really I'm just starting out. Hey, I'm still a freshman, so things may change, but I feel drawn to engineering.
And yes, I see lots of caffeine (coffee in particular) in my future as well.

It's really cool when you design something useful and it works.
How about a microprocessor controlled French press? You can incorporate strain gauges to sense force, you'll need an instrumentation amp and ADC to interface to the CPU and a motor controller for the press. You can make use of the ADC for temperature control, which means an analog switch to select the source. Hmm. a closed feedback loop with software to get it right. Ask your professors about making this a project. Yes, I'm being silly.

Sounds really cool. May have to look into that. Who knows, I may make something that resembles a Keurig that makes really good French press coffee out of any type of grounds, and then self cleans for the same ease of use. :D

Maybe Music Alchemist can hook you up with a business. Self cleaning should be a pay for option.

Whaaat? lol

I actually want to focus exclusively on joint venture brokering in the future. Although I have helped people build businesses (or improve their existing businesses) in the past, now I just want to operate in the background as a middleman, working with established businesses. Much less work and more profit that way.

So then, you're not going to help our forum bud?

Baja Blast Mountain Dew has made me so jittery! I need to reduce the jitter.

This $20,000 DAC clock with accuracy exceeding 33 millionths of a billionths of a second looks up to the task.

Only the best for my brain!

Even if this wasn't just joking around, I know very little about coffee and have no experience in that industry, so I wouldn't know about the optimal partnerships/deals to go after, and certainly wouldn't be able to advise on building a business like that from the ground up. Crowdfunding seems promising, though!

Crowdfunding in this thread won't be enough.
