Ok, so I managed to order a cable with 2,5mm ( thought about using this with hiby r3 balanced output ).

I can now see that the cable is not balanced.

What will happen if i use the 2,5mm balanced output with the hiby, with the cable that I ordered?

There is balanced, and unbalanced cables?

Thought this was how they were made.

It very easy to tell the difference, on the plug balanced has 4 rings unbalanced has 3

Do you plug everything in and get music as normal? If so, there's nothing wrong with what you bought.
