I don't really have a specific genre, I listen to classic rock all the way to screaming death metal, isolation is of no concern, build has to be top notch the AT's I have now literally get thrown around daily. Comfort is not a high priority, I can make sacrifices. I like the tonal qualities of my rainmakers (Something to compare to), very neutral to neutral-brighter on the Highs, Mids neutral to neutral-warm, lows have a touch of warmth, fast response great with percussion, with CS:GO I need  good sound stage for the virtual surround.

sounds like Sony EX1000.

EDIT: so also check these out: EX600,EX800,7550,SM3v2,SM64

id like to get an iem that has great mids and a sound signature close to that of a sennheiser hd598, but with more bass, not a lot more though.Obviously I'm not going to get the soundstage but that's fine. Let's say 200 give or take for the cost limit. Will be driven by an iPod touch LOD out to fiio e17.

Hi all.

I am interested in few models:

Audio-Technica FC707

Audio-Technica ON303

Not sure witch is better for the price. Have or had myself Audio-Technica ES7 and Audio-Technica WS55.

Could someone compare sound and build quality to WS55 of FC707 ON303 or ES7 if it is compareable?

Mostly interested in difference between FC707 and ON303.

Regards

Could someone help?

Thanks

Try orthofons. They have good mids with warm bass.

I need a pair of earbuds that have an Apple Remote/Mic and are comfortable to wear when lying down.

The microphone needs to be at least as good as Apple's Earbuds (surprisingly even some more expensive headphones have a worse mic) and they only need to sound good with voices, not music. Something that is not sibilant would be nice - they're only going to be used for Skype calls and listening to Podcasts.

Any suggestions? I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on them. I don't like the EarPods - they are too small for my ears, and the shape is uncomfortable when lying down.
It seems everyone is making IEMs these days, rather than having decent earbuds.
