Hey all, I'm about to pull the trigger on the D2000's and was wondering: How reliable is Buy.com?

I've heard some bad things about them (haven't verified) when it comes to shipping. The headphones themselves say they are "On Order". Does this mean after you purchase them, then they will order them, and THEN ship them to your address?

If so, should I just purchase them for $20 more from clickadeal.com (Another Buy.com partner)?

I bought my SR-60s from them without a problem.

I think the way buy.com works is it represents a bunch of different companies, for me it was onecall.com. The issues people have probably arise from the individual companies, not buy.com itself.

I've had mixed dealings with them. Lately, they seem to be pretty good, so I would probably give it a shot if you don't mind waiting a few weeks for them to get back in stock.

I just got my D2000 today from Buy.com. I never had a problem them. It did take them a while to get it back to stock but I didnt minded the wait. The headphone havent left my head since i got it!!

Buy is great. Have bought probably 1 item every 3 months from them for the past 2.5 years and never any problem. I love my buy.com and my newegg.com oh so very much.

I got my Er6i last week from them. It did seem to to take a few days to get the item from "processing" to "shipped." I'm used to dealing with Newegg and getting my stuff processed same day and getting it the next with regular shipping. Helps that I live near a Newegg warehouse.

I've had nothing but good luck with buy.com, i've bought stuff there on almost a weekly basis for the past 6 months.

Never had any problems. I ordered my K701's from them about this time last year. And just got my D1001's from them 6 days ago. No issues.

Ordered my D2000's last night from Buy.com. Let's see when they arrive. :] (Time is of no issue here.)
