Burson has just announced two new Conductor models. This time it seems that Conductor family got a little brother too. :)

Wow, some great news in here for those who can't afford the big momma 3R or the big daddy 3X.
Pre-order price is amazing too, especially for the 3P!
The best part is that 3P and 3XP have the same features as the big boys, lower power output might actually work better with dynamic headphones and sensitive headphones and if you are not driving something like an LCD-4, Susvara or AB-1266, then both are more than capable of moving any other headphone driver.

I'm really interested in the 3XP, it looks like the ideal all-in-one combo for me in terms of capabilities and looks. The pre-order price is tempting, but I'm quite short on cash this year... Wonder if it's really worth the jump from my Mojo combined with my Aeon 2 Closed. The Mojo drives the A2C well, but I have a feeling that they would scale and sound better with more power.

Tempted to try the SMSL SP200 because of its price, but it's so much less aesthetic and clean when you need to stack and connect a DAC. I don't have much space either, so an all-in-one clean setup like the 3XP would be ideal. Decisions decisions...

@1000ROUNDZ 3XP is most likely not suffering from volume knob issues like SP200 is. SP200 is a great amp for the money but you are trading quality for the price. I would probably play safe and go with 3XP instead.

Looking at these, and only needing a single ended 6.3mm connection and no need for bluetooth, I don't know if I see the 3P being worth over double the price of the Playmate? Anyone have any insight on the comparison between the two? I use Focal Elegia's (35ohm imp) so the power output looks to be the same between both at 2W...both use the same DAC...a hair better THD and channel separation for the 3P...but is there really much of a difference to justify $1100USD vs $400USD?

3P is a completely new design over the PLAYMATE. Probably in an A/B test it would be difficult to impossible to spot any clear differences (at least when using V6 inside PLAYMATE), but we're still comparing apple with peaches here. Conductor 3 plays in a different league, no matter the THD or channel separation.

I'm leaning towards the 3P to be honest, but now I'm thinking a Playmate might make it's way to my work desk with the V6...

Umm is this conductor 3xp play nicely with iems? and hiss free specifically I use Tia fourte noir.

I am also curious if I can charge this unit of a rv wall outlet without capture all the noise and inferences from that generator and all the dirty power that hides there. For an instance I thought maybe this would be compatible from ifi?

I also find it a little disappointing as it misses the new 4.4 balanced connector :frowning2:

For owners of verite , with Burson 3XP , silence, no background noise :) A colleague from the forum, had a problem with his more expensive brother. Headphones and a burson make a nice couple.

Excuse the translator

Can you share some of your impressions with the 3P so far? Any issues with it? About to get one ordered but not sure if I should keep saving up for a 3R instead.

I previously had Playmate and Rme adi 2 Pro and comparing from memory, c3 has a bigger scene. My burson works great, it doesn't heat up, I warm it up all the time and I like it more and more. To the downside, the display glows lightly and the problematic cleaning of these ribs. It also has a lot of power.

Thanks for the photos @maszynista1987 ! :) May we have one photo of the PCB? Is it using four V6 duals?
