To me the best match to expose this amp resolution (with proper op amps) I got a pair of Focal, before that I got a pair of Definitive Technology and I can tell you that there's a huge difference in sound quality from going Def Tech to Focal. The Funk Jay Lee edition ordered. Can anyone recommend a good match for any bookshelf speakers? Wondering what people have found in terms of good synergies (at any price points).

I've recently picked up some entry level Totem speakers-- the Kin Monitor. It sounds great. Very pleased with the warmth imparted by the amp, combined with the speed and clarity of the Totem. Will probably be getting the next Totem up.
I'm wondering how the Funk might sound with a less sensitive higher-end speaker, like the Harbeth P3esrxd. Hmm. In any event, I'm really pleased with the Funk.

Update with the v7 op amps (again thanks to Burson for providing the v7 op amps):Thanks to Burson to reaching out to me about reviewing the V6 op amps with my Funk. The everything sounds... more vivid. I really noticed the diff in speakers. I'm using some JBL Studio 530s near-field at my desk. It kind of feels like all notes have a little more weight. It was harder for me to tell on my S12 IEM but was kind of preoccupied when testing. My TH-X00 Purplehearts LOVE the V6 op amps. Things are not as bright as I remember and the overall sound is a lot more fun.
I'm hearing a little more mid-range detail and upper-bass on the JBL Studio 530s. There might be a little more airiness in there for the top end but it's hard for me to tell. In Mustard's beat on Not Like Us (Lamar)
On the Purpleheart X00 there's a lot more airiness to something like Little Wing (Hendrix). The mid-range is beautiful and the upper bass is again more detailed. Not Like Us bass is ****ING INCREDIBLE. Jesus Mustard is a goddamn master with that g-funk beat. It sounds like better handled bass in that super demanding bass of that track. On other basic amps the bass clips and distorts but SHIIIIIT the funk with the v7 op amp and purpleheart X00 I'm in ****ing heaven. All this without any loss as described above.
