Wow! The Burson Funk powered the Q Acoustics 3020i and JBL Studio 620 without a hitch at 1 o' clock on the volume pot. This is really good for near-field listening and I recommend these who wanted a capable amp for both headphones and bookshelf speakers.

Thanks to Burson to reaching out to me about reviewing the V6 op amps with my Funk. The everything sounds... more vivid. I really noticed the diff in speakers. I'm using some JBL Studio 530s near-field at my desk. It kind of feels like all notes have a little more weight. It was harder for me to tell on my S12 IEM but was kind of preoccupied when testing. My TH-X00 Purplehearts LOVE the V6 op amps. Things are not as bright as I remember and the overall sound is a lot more fun.

I think I saw 2w
Hmm.. probably a typo as the OG Funk is 3W SE, which chances are the same power output with different tuning + the V6 Vivid opamps. They might also mean that max current refined in amperes (amps).

Has anyone ever tried a Burson Funk and Susvara pairing?

Burson seems to have launched a more fancy version of Funk in collaboration with YouTube reviewer Burson Funk Max Current – Limited edition by Jay lee

Wow! This looks great. Really fits the special limited edition bill as the Funk really is a value product even as it is the entry-level to the Burson sound.

Here are my impressions on the Funk as well. It is definitely both a looker and a performer at its level and core - https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/bu...ass-ab-speaker-amp.25485/reviews#review-28906

How were the results of pairing Burson Funk with Hifiman headphones? Have you tried Funk with Susvara?

I wonder if it's recommended or not, or just OK, to install different op-amps (e.g., one Vivid and one Classic) in Funk, or do they have to be installed as a pair of same op-amp model?

I believe with the Funk you can, as the two dual opamp sections are divided into the headphone and speaker output so basically you're just changing the opamps for either. Unlike the Playmate 2 or other Bursons for that matter wherein they're assigned for the I/V (dual) and Low-Pass (single) pairs accordingly. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
