Hey peoples..

I just need to know from any other MDR-V700 owners how long and and how loud it takes to fully burn/break into the 700's till best sound is achieved.

BTW, these are my brother's headphones so nobody please give me crap about buying these cos i didnt!!!

watch out! some here will suggest you get your local brand of charcoal lighter fluid, use recklessly on them V700s and set them on fire to burn them in.
I would just play em continously for a couple of days.

i defintely think that the lighter fluid would work really good.

Since burn-in usually yields more bass I would say don't ever burn them in

Why should you care whether you burn in a pair of V700 properly anyway

I'd suggest sitting them in the middle of the local interstate for a few days. That should do nicely.

In the meantime go buy your brother a pair of Koss KSC-50s at CC for $15.

If he *really* wants to keep the Sony's at least talk him into pulling out the drivers and putting in the Koss' drivers.
