Hey all,

I am very close to getting my RE2+E5 Combo(my first decent IEM and first ever amp). I keep reading about the required 50h burn-in for RE2. I also read about burn-in periods for amps. I also got the basic idea of burning-in: playing some music or white/pink noise at a slightly high volume.

My question is: How would you guys think I should treat my new combo? What kinda sounds should use? Should I do them together?

That is, what would you do if you get the same combo? (or did in the past)

cheers,

That's generally the same as listening. You can leave it on overnight if you want to accelerate the process, but the RE2 is not the most burn-in affected phone and the E5 is not the most burn-in affected amp, so whatever differences there are will most likely be near-negligible.

Yeah the RE2s don't change that much after burn in.
