It's pretty cold here in Waterloo. Staying warm with hot chocolate and other hot beverages.

Hey, that's cool. Enjoy your vaction, the weather this morning could be a lot better. Currently I'm in Maui this morning for work and it's overcast and raining.

Hopefully it clears by this afternoon.

-22 C and slight wind from north. A down parka with hood is a nice thing to have.

This morning was -15c with a wind chill that made it feel like -28c. Needless to say it sucked. I warmed up the car for about 10 minutes before I left for work at 7:45 and was still freezing...

For my old Kentucky home, far away....

it's pretty darn cold for the mid-south here. about 10 degrees with heavy snow. however, i am extremely resiliant to the elements (maybe it has something to do with being born in Ithaca. i was raised in a snowstorm...) and regularly go out on jogs in freezing temperatures. i normally wear a long sleeve shirt, except with the sleeves pulled up. i'll put the sleeves on if i can feel pneumonia calling!
