Ok folks, I recently won an Ebay auction I shouldn't have bid on. I was in a hurry, and not paying attention, and bid on a pair of DT770s that I later noticed were being sold "as-is". Well, one channel is dead. The obvious things like wiggling the cord don't help.

I have never owned a pair of Beyerdynamic headphones. Any suggestions as to anything I might try to salvage them?

Thanks in advance.

Those cables are prone to shorting, recable them, or send them to headphile.com to be recabled. I'd recommend the port/woody at the same time

I did a Google search for a phone number and came up empty, can anyone post it? I'd happily pay $45 to have them repaired.

Thanks!
