I'm an American who just wants to "hug a Brit" today. Since that's not possible (in my rural North Carolina neighborhood), I'd just like to say THANKS to any Brits here. How wonderful in these frightening times to know that we are not alone. The friendship of your nation will never be forgotten, and always be cherished by THIS American!

Go ahead, insult me. I love you anyway

Jolly good, Mike!!

Asides from having spent two years there, owning 3 Austin Minis, 2 Triumph sports cars and a '57 BSA in the '80's, and deeply influencing my musical tastes, I have a great deal of love and respect for Great Britain.

Tony Blaire kicks ass! You brits are lucky to have him. I've listened to his speeches during the past two months and he seems to be a very good leader.

Neruda: Yes, Blaire is great......quite eloquent, at times. Tho lately, I've been more and more impressed with G. Bush

Bush is doing a great job right now, or at least he's doing all a president can do. My only beef with him is that I don't think he's a very good speaker. he needs more...charisma.
