Also, if you forget my recipe just google Indian Chapati.

In most chapati recipes, they will tell you to use chapati flour but I really feel that it tastes better if you use half chapati flour and half plain white flour in the mix. Use a food processer because if you mix it by hand it's more work. Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy. You'll be amazed.

It's best to eat it warm. You could reheat it but I've never tried it yet. I usually keep fresh dough in the refrigerator and cut small pieces of dough to make a single flat bread. Use a small wooden board and a small short rolling pin because it will be easier to manage and clean up will be much easier and faster.

Yes, put the marmalade on top of the bread like you would with toast.

Nice pic mate. I have to ask, how much time do you allow yourself in the morning to make that? Do you eat this everyday, and do you ever put anything else on top of it?

Thanks so much. Cheers!

I eat it very often because it's easy and pretty quick.

I make the dough at night and it does not take long because I use a food processor. When I make the bread in the morning, it will take about maybe 5 minutes I think to make. It's fairly quick, just make sure your pan is already hot.

Recently, I tried a French chicken liver mouse as a topping and I liked it. The mouse was store bought but I like it. I will try to make homemade chicken liver mouse in the future because chicken liver is also cheap but some people may not like it.

I haven't tried it yet but I think Nutella spread will be good too as a topping.

Also, notice that I made a correction in my original recipe. It's actually 3/4 cup of chapati flour plus an addional 3/4 cup of white flour.

Furthermore:

If anyone tries making these flat breads, please let me know the results or post it. I am curious of how others people's experience of making this type of bread.

Just got real hungry.
So returned from the store 5 minutes ago, with ingredients to make eggs with bacon and bread later today.
