A buddy of mine and I just got some HE-5LE, He asked me how long it will take to break them in sufficiently and I was just going to play a tone through mine for a week and then check......LOL. Any body have any ideas??????

Just listen to them... If I had to guess 100-200 hours would be sufficient but the change will be minimal (should be slightly smoother).  Just enjoy your musical collection with your new headphones, which will be much more rewarding than playing different audio frequencies through them in an empty room somewhere.

Random your music collection and sleep while they play

Enjoy them as they turn out. It's nice to see kids grow up

I was told by my distributor 200hrs for the HE-6. I nodded and have proceeded to listen to them as I would any other can. If something should happen later, all well and good. In the meantime I shall and will be listening to and enjoying music.
