If you only interested in sound quality, get the AK120, but if you willing to compromise the SQ with improved UI, get the AK100II.

Seriously, the UI for AK120 feels so ancient if you compare against AK100II UI

Of course AK120.100II is under of it.

Have you heard both side by side? Do you realize that with DAC changes, older much more expensive gear often times sounds worse than cheaper gear with the latest chipset? That's the biggest reason why DACs don't hold their value like say amplifiers or speakers.

No,I didn't try AK100II but I red some comparisons.And I just told,what I red.I didn't listen AK100II.
 
I used AK100 and AK120 (old).

I see....but the new II series is a complete revamp...and without direct A-B comparisons, I think it's just conjecture at best.

Wonderful, I agree, but I wish they went with the standard leather texture. The reptile look is really flashy, even in just black. Oh well.

The croc skin style leather case, looks a lot muted in real life. They do look hideous in these pictures because of the lighting.
