That's a great deal, Levanter.

I went to the post office and came home empty handed. They have it at a storage place. I can pick it up at the post office tomorrow.

It is... if i can afford it... my credit card is at -USD3000 now, and that is around -$10,000 in my currency =.=
hope to hear impressions & comparisons on the AK100II from you soon! I think for once AK actually have a real good deal on a good all rounder package in the AK100II

Okay, then you'll have to wait a bit longer.

I really have a thing for design. The AK100II looks really good imo. I'm going to post a comparison between iPhone 5S and AK100II.

They really are.
I even prefer the design of the 100ii & 120ii over the 240 tbh, much classier looking.

I'd say 100ii & 120ii are more conventional where 240 is ground breaking. Not everyone likes the look of 240 though

Probably fixing your credit card balance is of priority.

Definitely! I'm off the DAP market for like... forever after the 240.. unless I sell if off down the road :)

I'm considering selling off my HD700 which I bought last year still new and unused to reduce my deficit :frowning2:
Was already planning to sell after I bought it to raise some funds, but with the coming 240 I'm tempted to keep it..

Hmmm, I see...these figures are after your AK240 acquisition and hope the 240 would bring you endless joy, but don't forgetting to settle your bills as interest charges will mount LOL.

Cheers

Lol I haven't fallen THAT far to even consider the 240 if I already had a -usd3,000 in my card..
I think headfi is a good hobby to get into when you're old with better financial stability...

btw did your ref. 1 cost $1900?

I don't know if it's really worth it. Once I commit to buying 240, I'll convince myself to get 240awak, which is what 3200? ugh... pure evil this place is. Thankfully I don't like the look of the 240 as much as some other devices.

The shape of 240 is pretty unique and with strong character.  It is a very well built machine and with good attention to details.  Agreed that other devices with more conventional look would attract more buyers though.
