Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II

Tried AK120 and AK240 yesterday.
Sounds aside, the UX of AK120 is terribly bad. I mean, the UI design is great, but the responsiveness is just unacceptable.
AK240 on the other hand is smooth as silk. Comparable to ZX1 and even iPhone.
Should the II's have the same responsiveness and smoothness then I'm in.

So my local dealer will sell his ak120 & ak120 Titan for a cheaper price due to the newer models coming out.
My options are as followed.
1. Buy the ak 120 for around 1200
2. Buy the ak 120 Titan for 1400
3. Wait for the new Ak100ii & purchase that for I believe it will sell around 1000

What does everyone think?
Is the new dacs that much better than the old?
Will one of the new dacs in the ak 100 be better than the ak 120 which has two?

Thanks a lot :)

IMHO The AK120 is going to sound better than AK100 II. Without demoing it yourself your taking a chance.

$2349 AUD for the 120 ii in Australia ($2170 USD).

Although all A&K is very highly priced here. 240 is about $3000 USD.

Where ? Oh right, it must be Addicted to Audio ot Tivoli HiFi ? Our prices are a bit of a rip off...

Cheapest i have seen the 240 is $3399 AUD. It seems to have gone up to $3990 recently... nonsense pricing.

Yep addicted to audio, but everyone else will price in line judging from other models.

Price might be set by A&K to a degree I'm guessing. Can't see how it can be competitive compared to importing... Also the raising of AK100 and 120 prices was pretty simultaneous across all the dealers here. I dunno... just thinking.

Ya I'm leaning towards the 120 also.
I have a question if you don't mind.
When you put in a microsd card into the Ak120 does it just expand the storage & you put more & more music on or do you have to put music on the card separately first before inserting it into the ak player?

Does the music on the microsd show up with all the other albums from the flash storage in the album view?
Or does one have to access those albums from a separate folder?

Thanks :)

to get music on the microsd card, I just plug the ak120 into my computer via usb and it sees it as a drive.  I then drag & drop files or copy folders onto the AK120.
music on the microsd card(s) shows up with all of the other albums/songs after it re-indexes

The question is whether a RWAK120II (if there is one) would sound better than a stock AK240? The horror
