Well the M3 is a better earphone but tbh I'm not sure the difference will be appreciable to someone who hasn't tried the M2. Plus the fit is more easy-going on the M2 than the M3.

Brainwavz M2 delivers very good vocals , mids are not overpowered by bass and highs are present very well. Fit is also good . It is well-regarded by everyone , negate the critics blindly who criticize M2. M2 even after so many years are an excellent value for money .
