I also listen to acoustic stuff/Jake Bugg(only known in the uk) Could you test earphones sound best for this sort of music? http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=jake+bugg&oq=jake+bugg&gs_l=youtube.3..0i3j0j0i3j0l2j0i3j0l4.158.1192.0.1283.9.6.0.3.3.0.142.508.4j2.6.0...0.0...1ac.1.AV-YFwj2DYk

I'm more convinced to get the VSonics.

I'm listening to that song right now, and "Two Fingers."

I haven't heard the B2, but I own the Etymotic HF3, which supposedly has a very similar sound. There is a bassline in Two Fingers that I'm hearing in the GR07 that simply will not be heard on the B2, if the HF3 is anything to go by. I much prefer how the GR07 sounds.

Does your purchase have to be made from amazon? There are also other IEM's that may fit your needs. The DBA02 mkII and the Rockit Sounds R-50 would also be good choices. The R-50 is a great IEM and its $120.

Thank you! Massive help.

No problem. The gr07 is the clear winner for Jake Bugg. The b2 pushes a lot more detail but it gets a little fatiguing and busy while the gr07 is so smooth and effortless that I can listen to that Bugg guy all day long.

Thanks for the effort! I will most likely get the gr07! Hopefully Stone Roses will sound good on them as well! :)

Also, is there any sound leakage? Will be using outside on buses and stuff every day.

Well, frankly, I'm not sure about leakage - It's hard to tell what other people can hear with music pumping in your ears LOL. I haven't thought about asking someone on the bus if he hears my music. Anyway, as I said the gr07 doesn't have the best isolation, so it's not my first choice for very noisy places

Definitely look into the R-50. Itll be a good mix of both the B2 and GR07. Isolation will be very good too on the R-50.

I dont think so. Any of the twfk balanced armature IEM's will be a bit faster than the GR07. The GR07 isnt slow, but the twfk's are even quicker.

Looks like I will be getting the gr07. They seem to handle fast music better.

Can't get the R-50 in England. Shipping will probably cost a lot.

They are kind of popular on here. The GR07 has been around longer. The R-50 is better in some ways, not all. It will be a good compromise between the B2 and the GR07. Compared to the GR07 The R-50 will have a bit more detail and will have less bass quantity, but will be faster in the bass department. The R-50 will also isolate better.

they look better than the vsonic for a cheaper price... How come they aren't more popular? Gr07 are popular on this site aren't they?
