Hi guys, new member here!

I bought a set of Bowers & Wilkins PI3 and they sound awesome, but I'm having no end of trouble with them. I noticed that here's a clicking sound every time they're activated and mild-to-strong hissing. This clicking and hissing happens even when the heapdhones "chime" as a notification they're being turned on or off.

Both the headphones and my phone support Qualcomm aptX HD, but that makes no difference. Also tried them with an iPad Air 2, and via a wired connection to the PC -- it seems that any time the amp turns on, there's hissing.

I also had lots of trouble updating the firmware to the latest version via cable and the Windows application, as they kept mysteriously disconnecting.

I've already reached out to B&W support and will be waiting for a reply, but is this hissing a "thing" with any Bluetooth headphones, and/or this particular model? I'd like to know if it's just a dud unit or a design fault.
