The Theorem 720 is a great pairing and huge improvement over iPod alone.
Can anyone else comment about the sound leakage on these at medium-to-medium high volumes (50% to 75% volume on an unamped Galaxy S III)? I have read multiple reviews from legit websites/people, and almost all of them listed the sound leakage as an issue with these headphones. That leads me to believe that it may be a real problem with these headphones.
Thanks.
OK, but doesn't the sound quality always get better when you improve the hardware and source? Why would something "scale well "?
Thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it. I am not really able to test sound leakage myself right now, and I was just afraid of getting in to a setting where leakage will be a problem, but then having it end up being too late for me to return or exchange the headphones.
Just so that people don't think I'm crazy (or trolling), I posted links below to some reviews that either stated bad isolation or sound leakage (or both) as an issue with the B&W P7s.

Just bought a pair of these for university after saving up for a while (and joined head-fi as a result!). I am no audio enthusiast but there is a huge amount of detail that I can suddenly hear over the XB500's they are replacing. I have a feeling that I am still used to the Sonys though as the P7's are sounding flat at times to me, is this expected or is that because I am only listening to music from youtube on a laptop and am used to heavy bass coming through my headphones?
