Ack, I can't believe I haven't posted anything in this thread for a while. Just so people know I have been in touch with all of the major headphone amplifier manufacturers all of whom have expressed interest in either attending or sending samples of gear. I expected to know for sure about 2 of them already so I will follow up with phone calls to them tomorrow night. The others are all looking into travel plans, checking schedules, or seeing what they have demo versions of to send. When I know anything concrete I'll pass the information along.

I'm in for the meet. I wasn't sure for a while due to various family commitments. But the meet day is open, and I'll be there. I'll be bringing:

Amps: pimeta, M3, RSA hornet
cans: hf-1, k601, hd600, hd201, px100
sources: rio karma, laptop+Headroom MicroDAC

Hopefully I'll finally finish my STEPS and the casework on my M3.

Haj, I am very sorry as well. I had been looking forward to a Boston meet since I joined HeadFi. I just need to get things straight in my life right now as well.

You guys are going to have a lot of fun too.

I can bring DT770s 250ohm and a PIMETA, but that's about all that I have. You don't want to try my Shure E3c w/ the same buds I've been using... but if anyone is interested, I can bring the baggie w/ all the other buds I haven't used.

Man, I'd love to come to this meet, but I'm going to be away that weekend. Bummer. Or, as we like to say around here, Bummah!

I've been getting killer sound lately using WAV files -> Slim Devices Squeezebox -> Entech Number Cruncher 205.2 DAC -> various preamps/amps -> K1000.
