Damn.... I remember being in 9th grade and hearing Boston for the first time... totally helped drive my passion for audio and wanting to be a recording engineer. One of Rocks truly great, unique voices...

Very sad, indeed. Loved his voice, and loved the band. Boston reminds me of high school, and always brings a smile.

When I was a young kid, 'Long Time' (with the awesome 'Foreplay' organ intro) was probably my very first experience with Rock and Roll music.

I have since moved on through other genres and artists which I enjoy far more, but I'll always remember that song quite fondly for sparking my interest in music more than anything else I'd heard before that point.
