Why are the SR60 pads called "comfy". They should be renamed to "sandpaper"

I find the SR60 pretty comfortable, and really light, comparable to Bose TriPort in terms of weight, but TriPorts are more comfortable as they're circumaural, and more bassy too.

Yeah, right now I use Grado Bowl Pad + Basshead Mod + Socks Mod. It reduce the highs a bit, and gives more bass.

HOLY ****!

I just did the Socks Mod on my SR60, and the effects are awesome ... sound like there's a subwoofer right by my ears ... but the downside to it is I lost a lot of highs and mids ... I'm gonna try to remove more socks to make it perfect ...

Seriously, now, I think this **** is better than my old HD-580, just because I don't need an amp. Before I didn't quite like it coz of the lack of bass, but socks mod fixed the problem.

Thanks HEAD-FI ... LOVE YA GUYS MAN!
