Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
They are truly not necessary though. just fold up the tip and cut a millimeter or two off the base then slide that around the nozzle of the Iem. It functions exactly the same and it's free and you can cut it to the exact size you want. Do that mixed with flipping the tip inside out and it really is a good fit with a much longer nozzle.

The BL05 with the stock mesh changed out for a Moondrop filter has slightly better technicalities and a better balanced tuning than the BL03 with mesh removed IMO, but it lacks the magic and romantic sound of the BL03, including with vocals. Even though it’s technically a bit better than the BL03, it is nothing special. If only the BL03 fit like the BL05. I have yet to hear the BL01 or BL05s.

What does magic and romantic sound mean frequency wise?

uxcell Silicone O-Rings, 4mm Inner Diameter, 8mm OD, 2mm Width
Amazon: link
I put these very o-rings on my Blon - 01 and they really completed the seal and in the process the isolation got better and the sound quality did also... Can't say which one I love more, 01 or 03...they are both Amazing in my book...

I think you will like the BL01 for what it is especially if you get a good fit and seal..

A guy took the BL-01 apart and the driver's diaphragm is indeed biocellulose:

Yes BT and TWS seems to be where the newer generation of audio enthusiasts are heading. Majority of IEMs/headphones I see on the ears of consumers on the subway, buses and shopping centres seem to be TWS/BT types. My nephews and nieces only use wireless gear too, they refuse to consider any wired gear I recommend them.

I mean wireless gear is catching up with wired, no question about that, but the irony is that TWS/BT types get obsolete very soon due to new BT tech/codecs, and battery life also generally gets worse and worse with each charging.
I've been a daily music listener for the past 7 or so years, with my first pair of headphones being the Shure 425's - Not a bad entry into audio. Over the past couple of years, I've slowly incorporated Bluetooth into my listening - it's simply an convenience reason. If I'm out & about, I'll prefer to use my Nuraloops or Sony XM3's paired with my LGV30 (which I have as a music player only).

People starting out now & the past couple of years, all that they'll know exists are the wireless headphones from Sony, Sennheiser, Samsung etc. It's just the way it is.

Bluetooth while not as good as a wired connection, it's pretty damn close & for many, good enough.

Yeah, the gap is certainly closing between wired and wireless. I’ve been using Bluetooth products since 2.0, and I am amazed at how far it’s come in that time.

There are setups that approach wired quality.

They look like cross "hair" strengthening fibers :)

"Hair is composed of a protein called cellulose. All hairs on the head of a person are identical. The cortex may contain pigment granules."

So technically it could be hair "cellulose"... :)
