Allow me.

On the left is the Blon BT3 which bears no resemblance to the BL03 on the right. The BT3 is the replacement for the BL01 which is second left but the BT3 isn't as good. The second from right is the BL05 which replaced the BL03 but also wasn't as good, there is a green version of this called the BL05s which is supposedly better. But now BGGAR has released a video showing the Blon 01 which isn't the BL01 at second left but is the BL03 Mk2 which the BL05 and BL05s were supposed to be.
OH my goodness 🤯
But thank for the explanation 🙏

I guess almost all brands in the budget segment have this clear strategy of milking consumers with marginal sidegrades/upgrades. Very few brands like Tin offer something unique in the sub 50 category. And their upgrades are usually unique.

Does OS wide EQ exist? I'd love to get one if exists for windows and android.

I also wonder how thick the cotton sheet is to use as nozzle filter.

For windows, you can try "Equalizer APO" :)

As an old OG T2 owner, we had a similar dilemma with people in love with the BL-03 but wished for a model with a bit less mid-bass bloaty and more treble resolution. In T2's case, tons of people asking for just the same tuning with more bass extension and a bit more weight, and what we got? T2 Pro a model with slightly less bass and more treble. Then we got T3 double price, hybrid, with a weird tonality compared to the classic T2.

T2+ and T4 are good but the T2+ still lacking sub-bass extension, my point is it's not like Tin is flawless and that "unique" in my book. Every brand has its hits and misses. At least Blon isn't charging 5x more for something worse or identical.

Yes, wavelet for Android. Apo equalizer w/ peace gui for windows. I measure and make compensation files for my earbuds to ensure consistency across all my listening platforms. Also have Sony nw a105 running wavelet (requires android 9+).

For iems I normalize my system wide eq around oratory target.

Here's BGGAR on the new Blon:
I didn't even know there was a new unit in the works.

For Android, try Wavelet. Custom EQ for most of the earphones available. If that doesn't suit your palate then there's a 10 band equaliser along with many other tweaks. Head and shoulders above the other apps

T2 and T3 are atleast different even though T3 sounds really weird. T2+ and T2 Pro being part of the same T2 lineup are ought to be somewhat similar as ultimately they are variations of the original T2. But I understand the point you are trying to make.

Wow. My guess is if it is $30 then 75% of us Blon 03 users, will buy it to compare against the Blon 03. If it is how he says it is then I'm looking forwards to getting it.
