Beyerdynamic T90 & Schiit Asgard2

T90 needs very little power, so it's not power what brought out the bass.

1- The more powerful amp is not flat
2- The more powerful amp has a high output impedance, making the T90 warmer.

I did notice that the audio sounded a lot "warmer" but that was something I actually disliked. It would be nice if there was a shop in my area where I could test out some higher tier Schiit amps before I buy anything but at least I can return anything I buy from them within 15 days.

hi i was thinking of getting the t90 too. stand or jubilee.
i am using schiit asgard 1. not sure it will go well with t90 headphone or not.

thanks

The Asgard should drive the T90 just fine.

how about the sound? hope not too bright as i heard it is a bright headphone.
thanks

Preferences, recordings and listening levels play an important role.

You can always consider DT880/600

The Beyer T70 pairs very well with the Asgard 2 (same driver as T90).

I have try it in the audio shop that selling. Like I and bought it lol. Now trying at home. Dt 880 sound quite similar to my x1 in my opinion.

Really?

DT880 is significantly brighter with tighter bass.

Maybe is their equipment pairing the dt880 was wrong not sure. Ok back to t90. Sound really good vocal more forward. Bass is tighter compare to x1. Btw how long do I need to burn in?

Try 1.8 milliseconds.
If it's still bright after that, try burning in for 1.8 seconds instead.
Just joking....

You don't need to burn in your headphones. You only need to 'burn in' yourself. Use them for 20 or 30 listening hours (not continuous please).
Use them a week or two, find those recordings that make them shine, and that's it! After some time your mind will become used to the new sound signature and you'll start having (even) more fun.

Happy listening!
