They look nice, not just another me-too rebrand.

Clearly my excitement proves that I have become a Beyerdynamic ho!

They don't appear to be available yet. And while I am a total Beyer guy too, Beyer is often very optomistic about it's availability dates...

We just got our first shipment of DTX-50's yesterday, so they should be available around in europe as well.
Eaven though Santaclaus is located in Norway, I doubt that he's been making this actual model.

All the best for the holydays.

I actually just picked up a pair of the DTX-20's at B&H in New York yesterday. So far they sound very similar to the Sennheiser MX-500's, but the midrange seems to be a little bit smoother. Similar to the MX-500's there is not a lot of bass, but they sound very airy and musical w/ jazz music...

Well, I've been in touch with Jakke regarding Beyer-stuff for some time now, and I've got a DTX50 coming my way soon.
I'll post some impressions later.

I also got to borrow something quite interesting.
More info in another thread.

I got my DTX50 today. :)

Haven't used them much yet, but they definitely got some bass. Almost a little DT770.

It's actually quite comfy with the smallest rubber-thingies.

Some pictures I just took:

Three pairs are included.

Well, please note that this is just a very early impression. I'm still burning them in.
Things might change.

They're still quite comfy, though. :)
I think I must have small ear-canals.
