Need a decent flat set of cans for mixing at home. After hours of searching I think it's between these bad boyz!

Just wondering what most people would recommend?

Beyerdynamic DT880 pro -£185
AKG K701 - £165

Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

The K702 sounds to me more natural and way more balanced, with the 880 you can hear some upper mids/ treble spikes (very annoying) as well there is a minimum depth in the soundstage of the 880...mostly L-to-R soundstage. Beyer fixed the depth in the T1, but they kept the upper mids spikes as a Beyer sounds signature.

So there you go, OP. Now you know what two people think and, as usual on Head-Fi, it's the exact opposite of each other.
