Can someone enlighten me what would happen to the sound? I looked on the forums and the main thing I found is that Fiio's regularly have a warmer wound but a lesser soundstage, is this true?
 
I have purchased the 770 recently and I feel its lacking in warmth and fullness. Can anyone recommend me a good amp/dac/both under $150 that helps with these things? I use a iPhone 3G and a Laptop as a source. Portability isn't a requirement.
