Hi,
i am about fixing my good old beyerdynamic. It worked perfectly until my left channel was just sometimes working or when I pressed my finger against the upper area of the cable, where the cable entries the headphone. So i guess that there is a dodgy plug or contact. Anyway I have to open the headphones.
The point is that I am not able to do this without heavy force and the feeling to destroy the headpones, so I hope that anybody can tell me how remove this **** "clamping ring". I quess I have to lever it but I am not sure whether I have to locate the inner or the outer ring.
I attached a jpg of the hp so perhaps anyone can help.
Please excuse my english and thanks in advance.
